First Aid/Medical
This three bedroom apartment is nothing exciting. The inside is a decade or two more modern than the outside at least, but drab. Beige floors, off white walls leaves the place looking a bit institutional. At least the previous occupant tried to liven it up a bit with modern furnishings.

The kitchen is divided from the living room by a breakfast bar and a window lets in light from outside. Three furnished bedrooms and bathroom lead off the living room.

Two bedrooms are used for patients, the third for the doctor on duty. The two patient rooms are furnished sparsely with three twin beds each and several candle heaters to keep the rooms warm in the cold of fall and winter as well as to provide needed light. A small nightstand sits next to each bed with an additional lantern for light.

It was the day after the meeting and the doctor was back in the infirmary doing what he did best…researching. On one of the tables in the main area, just outside of the kitchen, he has set up a makeshift lab. Elijah has two microscopes on the table, three smaller dishes set out as well. Two are under either of the microscopes and as he looks down at the specimens he jots the occasional note in his notebook. Currently, he was tracking the current state of the blood samples he had gathered. The active Silencer blood, the inactive regular blood and then Piper's reactivated blood sample. The larger original samples each had been taken from were stored in the fridge still to avoid cross contamination.

It was obvious at the meeting that yesterday was a bad day for Piper, and today is looking to well. After the meeting she pretty much locked herself in her room and went into panic attack mode and has been in there ever since. She ventures out of her assigned room, looking wane and tired. No surprise there. Seeing Elijah hard at work she pauses in the hallway, then takes a deep breath and makes a direct path to the coffee.

Elijah looks up from his slides as he hears somebody walking across the floor, spotting Piper. "Good morning." His attention goes back to the slide as he looks at something else…writing another note but speaking back to the woman. "How are your injuries feeling today?" he looks back to her then to gauge her response. "Do you need anymore medicine?"

The woman may not be talkative, but what she lacks in words she more that makes up for in facial expressions and body language. It is not a good morning, and she is feeling awful. pouring herself a cup of liquid caffeine she shakes her head "No." she hasn't had any medicine in days, which could explain her sudden swing into panic attacks and depression. peyote isn't addictive but it does work as an anti-depressive if taken properly. As she moves to get sugar and milk for her coffee she rubs at her wound, it's itchy, which is a good sign at least.

"Alright…" Elijah eyes her a moment, unsure, but also knowing better than to press the woman. "Well just let me know if you do need any or need me to take a look at your injuries again." Watching her fix her coffee he'd then turn his gaze back to the slides, writing a few more notes before closing his notebook. There wasn't really anything else he could do without Monica to help apply the current back to them. As well as talk about possible ways to administer the nanites to whatever devices she had in mind around camp.

Is anyone sure of anything anymore? Besides wanting the alien menace to be gone so life can start again. After she doses her coffee with milk and sugar she sips at it, wincing at the taste even with all she put in it "Help?" she offers quietly as she points to the things he is working on. She has an idea of what it is, and while it does bother her, can she really get more upset?

"Hrm?" Elijah rubs his eyes a moment before looking to her "Oh. No I'm done for now, but thank you. I just needed to make notes and see if anything had changed." He looks at the sample on the table, one specifically, and then back to Piper…eyeing where she had been rubbing her injury. "Piper. I wonder…"

Well so much for having something to do. "And?" oh those wonderful one syllable words. At least she doesn't have issues with those. She watches him warily as she sips her coffee, thou her glance occasional goes to the TV, which is hooked up to a working VCR. Yay old movies. "What?”

Elijah rubs the back of his head a moment, thinking "Your healing has been slowed and from what I can tell…it is due to the fact that your nanites have either slowed or stopped reproducing." He looks over to the table again before back to her "I found a way to reactivate nanites. Specifically using your blood sample and your nanites." The doctor knows it isn't the woman's favorite topic, but if it could help…he had to at least mention it right? "Do you think reintroducing those into your system would help? Or how would that work?"

Definitely not her favorite topic but she is to tired to do anything but listen at the moment. Piper nods, she knows what he has been doing experiment wise and how they have been successful so far with what they are doing. There is flash of panic in her eyes but his own lack of knowledge about the outs on eases it some. "I don't…" she gives a shake of her head. She has no idea what that would do. She does know what it won't do though.

Seeing the panic, Elijah frowns, "I'm sorry…I didn't want to upset you that's…why I haven't really brought it up." He shakes his head "I just figured if it COULD help then it might be worth a try. Obviously it's your choice though. Just say the word and I won't mention it again."

<FS3> Pied-Piper rolls Mind: Success.

Piper rubs at her wound again. it certainly isn't healing as well is is should be, but that could be just all the other stuff she is going through as well. Today probably wasn't the best day to propose the. idea. She isn't thinking clearly certainly. Setting the mug down on the counter she nods at him "Do it." what does she have to lose?

Elijah blinks, perhaps a bit surprised by her willingness. Then again…it wasn't like she had much to lose. Giving a nod, the doctor looks to her. "Please. Have a seat. I'll need to get a couple things." He'd step into the kitchen, which also served as the supply storage for certain items. Retrieving a syringe, Eli comes back to where the samples are set out in the trays as well as in their own bottles. Also bringing in another tray, he puts more of Piper's reactivated nanite blood onto it before sliding it under the microscope. Using this method he'd take the syringe and try and draw in as many of the reactivated nanite cells as possible for the best result.

She is probably just as surprised as he is…at least sone part of her is. Not the visible parts though, these just show her usual nervy behavior that are on display on bad brain days. Sitting on the tabletop, for the added height. She is in short sleeves so no worries there so she watches him as me moves around prepping.

Once he has it prepared, Elijah brings the injection over. Looking to Piper as she sits on the table, he looks to her and hesitates a moment with his hand and the needle raised. "You're sure?" he asks for a final confirmation. If she gives it, he'd inject her. If not, or if she even hesitated, he'd set the needle down on the table.

Piper's finger flex against her thighs with the swimming otter Pj bottoms covering them. She hesitates when he hesitates, but at the moment their seems to be no doubt on her face…or anything really. Just the stoic mask as she holds out her arm for him inject the nanites into her vein.

When her arm remains out, Elijah injects. He'd watch her for her reaction then.

<FS3> Pied-Piper rolls Body: Success.

So far the only reaction is the wince Piper gives when the needle pierces her skin. A hand rubs the area as she slips of the table. "Stay?" she asks him. She really should have thought this through. Stuck in medical another day as she is observed.
Elijah looks to her "I would suggest it…just to be safe." The doctor gives her a reassuring smile "However, given that you already have active nanites in your bloodstream there may not be much of a negative reaction, if one at all. That is my theory." Theories could be wrong though. When she had been brought in with the gunshot wound the idea of shocking her or injecting her had been too risky, but now she was stronger and more stable. There shouldn't be as much of a risk. Hopefully.
